JENNIFER RUMBALSKI

Owner and Instructor

Jen Rumbalski (Walizer) began dancing at the age of 4. Dance was a part of her life all throughout childhood.  Upon graduating from Central Mountain High School: Jen decided to pursue a career in dance.  At the top of her list was to attend Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA.  In December of 1999 she received notification her dreams were coming true; she was accepted into the Conservatory of Performing Arts at Point Park.
Jen attended PPU from 2000-2003.  After graduating a semester early and on Dean List: she began her pursuit to obtain a professional career.  Several auditions later, Jen was hired as the Dance Captain of Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede in Myrtle Beach, SC.  There she was required to manage rehearsals, perform in numerous productions each day, and work with live animals.  While working at the Dixie Stampede Jen began teaching dance in her spare time.  She worked at multiple studios and found that teaching dance was her passion.  Jen lead her dance teams to several titles including Jr. Miss Starpower of South Carolina.
In 2007 Jen moved back to Pennsylvania and opened Total Technique.  The name of the studio came from her core beliefs in proper technique taught by experienced professionals.  Today Total Technique is vastly growing and improving.  Our mission is proving to be successful: Proper technique pays off!
